Santa Rosa County Public Works Department crews have been moving systematically around the county working to repair roads that were damaged by raging floodwaters.
Santa Rosa County Public Information Officer Joy Tsubooka said Saturday that repairs to East Bay Boulevard are expected to take four weeks.
The road is closed between the Shadow Lakes subdivision and Zilla Drive.
In addition to making repairs, crews are also working to fill along roadside ditches to provide support to roads that were being undercut by fast-moving water.
The Florida Department of Transportation is also evaluating a collapsed turn lane on Highway 98 just east of Highway 87.
