The Santa Rosa Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan is finished and is now awaiting approval from the county zoning board.
The plan, which is focused on making the south end of the county more bicycle and pedestrian friendly, will be presented to the zoning board Thursday. If approved, the plan will go before the county commissioners two weeks from now.
The zoning board meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. at the Tiger Point Community Center. The county commissioner meet is set Aug. 27 at 6 p.m. in Milton.
