Aydelott found incompetent

In a competency hearing held Jan. 23, Brandon Aydelott was ordered to the Florida State Hospital in Chattahoochee to undergo a mental evaluation, which is expected to be complete within six months.  Aydelott was found incompetent to stand trial in the Christmas Eve murder of his mom, Holley Navarre Middle School teacher Sharon Aydelott.
Brandon Aydelott, pictured during a Dec. 27 court appearance, had a verbal outburst in the courtroom, prior to his Jan. 22 competency hearing but was calm during the proceeding.
