Active recovery operations conclude tomorrow

Eglin officials will conclude active recovery efforts tomorrow related to the March 10 UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter crash.

The Safety Investigation Board from the Army Combat Readiness Center, Fort Rucker, Ala., has convened and Eglin will transfer responsibility of the accident site to the investigation board Saturday.

All recovered human remains have been transferred to Dover Air Force Base in Delaware.

In the event anyone finds human remains or aircraft debris from the Santa Rosa Sound and adjacent areas, call 850-882-5856.  The Eglin Fire Communication Center will be available to respond to any findings related to the accident.
