The name of the Milton man accused of stabbing two people Thursday morning has been released.
Jevon Lamar Husfelt, 22, is facing two counts of first degree felony attempted homicide in relation to an incident that occurred at an address on Kabel Drive in Milton according to Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office press release.
Deputies responding to the scene discovered a male and a female victim with knife wounds. They were transported to an area hospital immediately. One of the victims was later identified as the suspects girlfriend.
Both victims are in good condition according to the Sheriff’s office.
According to the arrest report for Husfelt deputies found blood spatter in several rooms of the residence. A pipe with burn marks on the end was found on the bed in the house. This pipe is commonly used to smoke methamphetamines according to the deputies report.
In the course of their investigation deputies identified Husfelt as a person of interest in the case. He was taken into custody and later charged with attempted murder following a sworn interview.
Although most of the suspects sworn interview was redacted from the report, Husfelt said he did not stab one of the victims.
The wounds on both victims appeared to be defensive according to the report. An additional witness interview had been completely redacted from the report.
