Two children have identified a Navarre man as sexually abusing them from as young as 5 or 6 years old.
Glen Copeland, who resides on Turkey Bluff Road, is charged with two counts of felony lewd and lascivious molestation of a victim under 12 years old and one count of felony sexual assault on a victim under 12 years old.
According to Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s office reports, the first victim told adult in his life about Copeland allegedly abusing him. They confronted Copeland who was allegedly teary and apologized but never outright confessed to the incidents.
In an interview the victim indicated that incidents first began occurring when he was 5 or 6 years old.
When asked if there were others that Copeland had touched inappropriately, the victim named another victim. This female victim was also interviewed.
Copeland did not admit to any of the allegations during official interviews and has hired an attorney.
He is currently being held in Santa Rosa County Jail on $300,000 bond.
