On Oct. 27 Kody Toman, an employee of Tom Thumb, was booked for Grand Theft of more than $300 and less than $5,000, a third-degree felony. According to an email to Navarre Press from his father, Toman turned himself in to law enforcement.
According to the report filed, a fellow employee said Toman was working by himself on the night of Sept. 20. The next morning the employee discovered that Toman’s cash drawer was short. The employee also reported that the end-of-shift paperwork had not been correctly filled out so he was having difficulty figuring out why the drawer was short.
