“We’re excited,” said Charlene Mauro, director of the Northwest Florida Marine Education and Discovery of Gulf Ecosystems, Inc., which was recommended to receive $265,000 toward design costs for the future Gulf Coast Discovery Center, a $4.8 million planned expansion of the Navarre Beach Marine Science Station.
