The 2020 CrossFit Open has ended.
Jessica Harrison had the strongest Open of all the Navarre athletes entered.
She had the best score of all competitors twice in five weeks. Harrison barely edged Ashley Wolter for gym bragging rights.
On the international women’s leaderboard, Harrison checked in at 3,611th overall, and ranked 1,785th nationally. Wolter finished 3,799th in an international field with over 85,000 athletes. The top male athlete was Michael Morris, who finished 22,140th out of more than 105,000 global participants.
“Everyone has their strengths and weaknesses, so each week challenged a different set of athletes,” said Russ Robertson, head coach at CrossFit Navarre.
According to Robertson, most who entered the Open saw it all the way through.
“It’s tough to make it through all five weeks – life happens, people take trips. Participation was pretty consistent for us, maybe better than past years. But there’s always a little bit of fall off.”
