Four things to know in October: Santa Rosa County Animal Shelter

On the heels of announced policy improvements at Santa Rosa County Animal Shelter, the facility has also launched a low-cost spay and neuter program for certain breeds of dogs.

Animal Services received a grant of $20,000 from the Florida Animal Friend spay/neuter license plate program to begin a limited low-cost spay/neuter program for the pets of the citizens of Santa Rosa County.
