When the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission meets later this month in Tallahassee, several items involving fishing will be on the agenda.
That includes setting a recreational season for red snapper in state waters of the Gulf of Mexico.
The proposed season is June 11 through July 25, a total of 45 days, which is longer than the previous two seasons.
