Tyler England was all-in for what would turn out to be the final high school football game of his career last October.
Not that England isn’t all-effort all the time, but this fall night under the lights was different for the Navarre wide receiver and defensive back in a showdown with Crestview.
Former Raider running back Dwayne Carter, one of the best in school history, was on the sideline encouraging England to go out on the field and show out like he never has before.
“He’s always in my ear, but it was different that night,” England said. “It was senior night. I wasn’t sure what was going to happen with our season. I knew it had to be a different game.”
And it was.
England caught four touchdown passes, setting a single-game record, and he also picked off three passes, tying a school record.
