When Austin Anderson visited Disney World last year, he never thought the trip would lead to an award-winning science fair project. Like any kid, he was there to have fun.
But the behind-the-scenes tour sparked an idea that stayed with Anderson and eventually earned him the Biological Sciences Grand Award at the annual Holley-Navarre Middle School Science Fair.
The seventh-grader said he wanted to find out if plants planted in hydroponic soil had better growth.
