Science station takes kids on an OdysSea

In addition to the sea life that resides at the Navarre Beach Marine Science Station, visitors were welcomed by rabbits, a python, an owl and even a baby kangaroo Saturday at the third annual Autism OdysSea.

Student volunteers who attend the science station teamed up with representatives from Gulfarium Marine Adventure Park, the Gulf Breeze Zoo, Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge and the Emerald Coast Science Center to show off some of their animal ambassadors.

“It gives kids the chance to interact with sea life and the beach with kids who are more their peers and they actually learn more,” Jerry Colin said.
