For the first time in any U.S. school district, Santa Rosa County has launched STEAM-centric learning into all public schools in the district.
STEAM stands for science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics. These are the core subjects of the school district’s STEAM Innovate program. Teachers and administrators celebrated the launch of the program’s third year Oct. 24 at AppRiver in Gulf Breeze.
