When Holley-Navarre Primary School teacher Jennifer Raney was in kindergarten, she was given an assignment to write down what she wanted to be when she grew up.
She wrote teacher.
Years later, Raney is back in a kindergarten class, fulfilling that dream from her younger years. Her mother still holds onto the keepsake that proves Raney has always wanted to be a teacher.
Seven years ago, Raney began teaching kindergarten and this year was named as Holley-Navarre Primary School’s Teacher of the Year.
