“They have scratches and bumps all over them,” said fourth-grader Elizabeth Boone as she watched Navarre High School football players walk by at Holley Navarre Intermediate School.
Boone will be participating in a new mentorship pilot program at Holley Navarre Intermediate School that will pair fourth graders with Navarre High School football players once a week.
Team captain and receiver Quentin Randolph said he likes to give back when he can.
“I remember my time as a kid looking up to football players. Now I will find out what it’s like on the other side,” Randolph said.
