Pace rezoning divides school board

The Santa Rosa County School Board did something unusual on April 23 – it  voted against a recommendation by Superintendent Tim Wyrosdick.

In a 3-2 vote, the board opposed his proposed rezoning of nine Pace area schools.

“Tim Wyrosdick has had two votes in seven and a half years against his recommendations,” she said, pointing out in February 2013 the board unanimously supported a union push for a pay increase.
