Santa Rosa County School Board members and foundation members surprised fourth grade teacher Danielle Clark this morning in her classroom with her students surrounding her.
Clark started her teaching career at Holley Navarre Intermediate School ten years ago, where Clark was also a student at one time. Clark is a mentor not only to her students, but to her peers as well. “Danielle is a natural teacher and natural leader,” HNIS Principal Liz West said. “She has been a mentor to several teachers. She is one of those people who has such a steady, calm demeanor and she does well with all kinds of students. It doesn’t matter their background or behavior, or if they might be struggling, she is able to touch all of them with such grace and ease. She has such a heart for these kids.”
