Navarre school locked down

Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer Deputy Rich Aloy has confirmed that no police report has been filed after Holley Navarre Primary School was in lockdown for 30  minutes on Sept. 2.

Office staff reported an irate parent caused the school to initiate safety protocols that resulted in the 30 minute lockdown procedure. Aloy confirmed that the parent was upset, loud and wanted to see their child.

According to a message sent by administrators to parents, the situation was handled immediately with the safety of the children in mind and all activities have resumed as normal.
