Three Navarre area fourth graders will join about 450 other students from across the country for a special concert March 22 in the Atlanta Symphony Hall.
Ariana Sealy, Delaney Stewart and Audrey Fillmore auditioned and were selected to rehearse and perform in a concert for the Organization of American Kodaly Educators – a music education professional organization. Students from elementary through high school are selected to participate in the annual event.
“They are the first students of any age to be selected for this national honor choir from the area,” said Ann Leffard, director of the Navarre Youth Chorale, an after-school choir for third through fifth graders.
