When Navarre High School teacher Jennifer Watson was named the school’s teacher of the year, she said she could not believe it.
“My name was listed among the top three candidates, and I almost passed out… (When I was selected) I was stunned. I think I do a pretty darn good job, but wow. I didn’t know anybody was noticing,” Watson said.
But for the students of this English teacher, yearbook adviser and NHS Teacher Academy instructor, the selection was no surprise, said student Julia Rathbun.
