While rivalry week tends to be a competitive time between Navarre and Gulf Breeze high schools, this year’s food drive steered away from the traditional competition to respond to a need within the wider community.
The annual Caring and Sharing rivalry canned food drive, held Oct. 17-27, moved to divide donations between the local Santa Rosa community and Hurricane Michael relief victims in Panama City.
