School districts across Florida purchased more than $59 million in Florida agricultural products last school year, and Santa Rosa students chowed down a few of those millions in produce.
October has been dubbed National Farm to School Month to celebrate the use of local farmers’ produce in schools and the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services’ Farm to School initiative.
