Teaching was not Jennifer Dantin’s first career choice but it might be her best one.
For most of her adult life her primary jobs had been secretarial work and caring for her two children, but at 38 years old, Dantin decided to go back to school.
“I thought teaching would be a way to influence the younger kids and make them have a love for learning whether it was through textbooks or hands-on experiences,” she said.
At the urging of a friend, she pursued a new career path.
