Four and half years ago, Santa Rosa School District Superintendent Tim Wyrosdick and Assistant Superintendent Joey Harrell loaded into a car and drove to Tallahassee.
They were set to meet with the state commissioner of education to ask for permission to build a new school in response to exploding population growth in the county.
