As orange and black wings fluttered around the Panhandle Butterfly House (PBH) en masse Saturday, so did young minds ready to learn about these fragile creatures at the annual Monarch Madness Butterfly Festival.
This year the festival added a new lesson activity called the Monarch Madness Passport. Master Gardener and PBH volunteer Pam Murfey helped to create the new curriculum to engage even more young visitors in the love of butterflies.
