As demand for commercial tractor-trailer drivers across the country soars, Santa Rosa County students will soon be able to secure a commercial driver’s license (CDL) locally.
County commissioners approved a deal July 25 with Pensacola State College to offer land in the Santa Rosa Industrial Park East for creation of a new truck driver training facility in exchange for land on which to build new soccer fields.
