Businesses impacted by flooding may apply for short-term, interest-free loans to help meet the demands of their businesses.
Gov. Rick Scott announced May 8 the activation of the Florida Small Business Emergency Bridge Loan Program as the request of State Rep. Clay Ingram of Pensacola.
The program was also made available in 2010 for businesses adversely impacted by the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill.
Small Business Development Center Regional Director Kelly Massey said all $5 million in loan funds were used in 2010.
