Quality done right, built on your site.
That’s the slogan for S&L Buildings in the Gulf Breeze/Navarre Area.
Maybe you are looking for a new garage. Or perhaps a storage shed. Or even an RV, boat or car port.
You can find them all at S&L, located about a block up from Highway 98 on East Bay Boulevard.
“We offer some of the more attractive units in the area,” said business owner Stan Pollock. “They can be customized in any way. We want to be able to meet your needs.”
S&L opened in July at 5302 East Bay Boulevard, but Pollock is no stranger to the building business. He has been involved in it on and off over the last 20 years, including with Florida’s Finest Structures. S&L is now a dealer for them.
Structures can be built any size or style and S&L serves Pensacola, Gulf Breeze, Navarre and surrounding areas. All buildings meet Florida and Alabama codes.
A veteran of the Air Force – Pollock was a firefighter in the military – and he opened S&L because he wanted to get back into the building business after working for the city of Fort Walton Beach for a handful of years.
The structures can feature shingled or metal roofs – that choice is up to the customer – and Pollock said he’s willing to answer any questions a customer might have.
“We’ll give the best customer service that we can. If we have to spend all day answering questions, we will do that,” Pollock said. We’re familiar with all of the codes and we can help you out with that, too. We’ll make sure you get the right fit for your yard.”
S&L is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. and from 8 a.m. until noon on Saturdays.
But if needed, he’ll help someone out after hours. It’s all part of providing the best customer service possible.
Depending on the size, the structure can take 1-3 days to build and another 1-3 for the painting of the structure.
When it’ all said and done, it will be worth the time and money spent.
“All of the work is done under a licensed Florida general contractor. Everything is built to code,” Pollock said.
Pollock also cares about the community. He helped raise money for Toys for Tots in December, including hosting a cookout at his business location to raise money.
As for his business, the structures he offers on his lot can serve multiple purposes.
“If you need a place for storage, but you want something a little more attractive for the yard, we have that,” Pollock said. “They can also be used for things like a garden house or a pool house. They can serve a lot of different purposes.”
So, if you are in the market for a brand-new shed or perhaps a car port, stop over to S&L Buildings today to meet with Stan about getting things started. You can also visit them online at https://www.slbuildingsgulfbreeze.com/.
