When it comes to paycheck friendliness, Santa Rosa is the second-best county in the state and ranks in the top 6 percent of counties in the nation, according to Smart Asset.
Smart Asset is a New York based financial technology company. Its Paycheck Friendliness study looked at four factors: semimonthly paycheck, purchasing power, unemployment rate and income growth.
Simply put, paycheck friendliness is how much of a paycheck a worker gets to keep after taxes are paid and necessary purchases are made, combined with prospects for future growth and job security.
