At least 23,500 tourists who stayed in Santa Rosa County in 2018 did not do so through a hotel, campsite or traditional condominium rental service.
They stayed instead in houses, spare bedrooms and other accommodations put up for rent by the properties’ owners on vacation rental site Airbnb.
