The man accused of running a human trafficking ring that stretched into Gulf Breeze and Pensacola massage parlors will not be eligible for bail, according to an order issued by a federal judge Sept. 6.
In the Order of Detention issued by U.S. Magistrate Judge Hope Thai Cannon, the judge cited concerns that the defendant may flee the area and that he might interfere with witnesses in the case if released.
David Clayton Williams, 41, was arrested Aug. 16 in a massive federal sting operation spanning Florida, Virginia and Pennsylvania.
