Proposed gas station not well received by some

The property that currently houses the Navarre branch of ERA American Realty at 8006 Navarre Pkwy. is slated to become a gas station and convenience store if the owner can procure a variance for the underground storage of gas tanks.

The zoning board will hear the request for variance by the applicant Plaza Street Partners, LLC who will be represented by Tiffany Lehman of Neikirk Engineering at the Feb. 11 zoning board meeting.
