Nandin named Air Force Spouse of the Year, recognized for SAFE Program

Vice President of Emerald Coast Exceptional Families (ECEF) Angela Nandin was named the Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC)’s 2021 Spouse of the Year and received the Joan Orr Award.

Nandin was recognized at the Navarre Beach Area Chamber of Commerce Military Appreciation Commerce and Coffee at St. Sylvester Catholic Church May 20.

Three proms, one night

Three proms took place that night – Navarre High School (NHS) Prom on University of West Florida’s campus, Navarre Homeschool Prom at Gulf Pointe Latin School’s Gymnasium and Navarre High School Prom 2 at WaterVue in Fort Walton Beach, which was organized for students who were unable to get a ticket to the original NHS Prom. Spring Jam springs back with sold out crowd

After being postponed two years in a row due to the pandemic, Spring Jam county music fest made a huge comeback to Juana’s Pagodas on Navarre Beach March 20.

This was the third time Cat Country hosted this beach concert that benefits Santa Rosa Kids’ House, a local nonprofit on a mission to help stop the hurt of child abuse.
