Margaret Thatcher, infamous “Iron Lady” and first female prime minister for Britain, inadvertently launched the pseudo-holiday now celebrated by Star Wars fans the world over.

“May the fourth be with you” is a clever spin on the Star Wars movie motto “may the Force be with you” and the date May 4.
