Juana Good Time Regatta

The Juana Good Time Regatta at Juana’s Pagodas is designed for both experienced and novice racers on Navarre Beach Sept. 8-10. It is open to all sizes of multihull sailboats, from beach cats and trimarans to cruisers. For schedule of events, visit www.juanaspagodas.com.

 

Fish Fry

The Holley Navarre Senior Center’s annual fish fry will be on Friday, Sept. 15 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sheriff Bob Johnson will be frying fish and hush puppies for $12 a plate, includes sides and drink. The public is invited to attend this event and help raise funds for the center which is located at 8476 Gordon Goodin Ln. For more information or to purchase lunch tickets, call 850-936-1644.

 

Coastal Clean Up Day

Trash doesn’t fall from the sky, it falls from human hands, and human hands have the power to stop it. Volunteers will be cleaning up Navarre Beach on Saturday, Sept. 16 from 8 a.m. to noon. A Clean Community representative will be on hand to register participants and provide trash bags at the pavilion next to the Navarre Beach Fishing Pier. Taste of the Beach

Taste of the Beach features cook offs, cooking demonstrations, a chef challenge, sample tastings and live concerts along the sugar-white sands and emerald green waters of Pensacola Beach on Saturday, Sept. 16 from 10:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. For more information, visit www.tasteofpensacolabeach.com.

 

Freedom Motorcycle Ride for Human Trafficking

The Refuge for Women Emerald Coast presents the Freedom Motorcycle Ride for Human Trafficking on Saturday, Sept. 16 from 8 to 5 p.m. All proceeds and donations will go towards Refuge for Women Emerald Coast safe house. The event will kick off at Harley Davidson in Pensacola, 6385 Pensacola Blvd. Registration will begin at 8 a.m. and kick stands up at 9:30 a.m. Pre-registration cost is $25 per rider and passenger.
