Navarre Beach Mardi Gras Parade

The annual Navarre Beach Mardi Gras Parade begins at 1 p.m. on Gulf Boulevard. The theme for this year’s parade is “Sun, Sand and Surf”. Join the Navarre Krewe of Jesters for family friendly fun, floats, and beads. For more information, visit

Kids and Kritters Parade
The Kids and Kritters Parade is a Mardi Gras walking procession for people and pets at the Casino Beach parking lot on Pensacola Beach. Be a spectator and catch beads or join the parade. Registration is at 1 p.m. There is a $5 entry fee for pets and kids are free. The theme is “Magical, Mystical Mardi Gras.” Prizes will be awarded for best costumed pets and best mini float made from a stroller or wagon.  Participants must be costumed and provide their own throws. Okaloosa Island Dance Party

Enjoy a night of exciting live music and dancing at the Emerald Coast Convention Center from 6 to 11 p.m. There will be food samples from different restaurants, silent auction, games and more. Cost is $10 per person or $20 per person at the door. For more information, visit

Pirates & Princesses 5K/Fun Run & Family Festival

The Pirates and Princesses 5K/Fun Run & Family Festival at the Fort Walton Beach Landing, 139 Brooks St Southeast, will be fun for the entire family from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Event includes face painting, a bouncy castle, food, vendors, and a festive Pirate party that will be fun for all ages.
