Easter egg hunts and family friendly activities will be going on in Navarre and surrounding areas this weekend and next weekend. Listed below are some of the events taking place.
Community Spring Fling
Families First Network hosts a community spring fling on April 8 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Children Services Building, 1221 W. Lakeview Ave., Pensacola. There will be an Easter egg hunt, crafts, games, food and more. The Easter egg hunt schedule is as follows:
Noon-12:15 p.m. Walking to 3-year-olds
12:15-12:45 p.m. 4 to 7-year-olds
12:45-1:15 p.m. 8 to 10-year-olds

Bellingrath Gardens Easter event
Hop on down to the Bellingrath Gardens and join them for some “eggstra” special Easter fun. There will be special hunts for different age groups as well as prizes, candy and “eggtivities,” which makes this a perfect family outing. Admission is free for members. Regular Gardens admission of $13 for adults and $7.50 for children ages 5-12 will be charged. Children ages 4 and under are admitted free. Annual Easter Egg Hunt
The City of Pensacola Parks and Recreation Department will host the annual Easter Egg Hunt at Roger Scott Athletic Complex. The fun takes place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The egg hunt times are as follows:
10:30 a.m. Stroller – 2 year olds
11:00 a.m. 3 – 4 year olds
11:30 a.m. 5 – 7 year olds
12:00 p.m. 8 – 10 year olds
12:20 p.m. 11 – 12 year olds

Awesome Easter: for the Special Needs Community
The City of Fort Walton Beach’s Firefighters and Silver Sands School invite our special needs community to come out for a free morning of springtime fun. Play games to win Easter eggs (both candy and toy-filled available to accommodate dietary restrictions) and enjoy complimentary refreshments, activities, and Easter surprises, located at Silver Sands School: 349 Holmes Boulevard NW in Fort Walton Beach from 10 a.m. to noon. In the event of rain, the event will be moved from the outdoor field to inside the school building. Easter Egg Glow Hunt
The festivities kick off at the Fort Walton Landing on Brooks Street at 6 p.m., complete with a special appearance by the Easter Bunny himself. Then the hunt begins at 7 p.m., with separate age divisions for children ages 1 to 4, 5 to 8, and 9 to 12 years of age. This free event is open to the public. The Ebonwood Homeowners Association will be hosting an Easter Egg Hunt at The Ebonwood Community Center, 3511 West Scott St. The Easter Egg Hunt will Start at noon and end at 3 p.m. For more information, call 850-426-1156.

Easter Egg Hunt/Block Party Cookout

Easter Egg Hunt
There will be an Easter Egg Hunt for middle school and younger youth at 10 a.m. beginning with a craft activity. Youth interested in joining in this celebration should meet in the Upper Building Youth/Quad Room and youth should bring a basket or other container to put their eggs in.
