Santa will make his grand entry to the plaza parking lot via his red motorcycle (if weather permits). Once Santa arrives with jingle bells echoing throughout the Sand Dollar Plaza, the shops will turn on their Christmas lights and the party will begin.
“We try to make it a location to be during the holiday season. It’s a family environment,” owner of The Flair Boutique Kari Rubin said.
Dress up in your red and green and festive hats and headbands. Bring your loved ones, including your pets. The stores just ask that you keep hold of them. Please keep dogs on leashes and cats in carriers.
Bring your camera or phone and we will assist you in getting free pictures with Santa. The Flair Boutique will be handing out candy canes and gifts for the nice and the naughty.
Come enjoy festive refreshments at each of the three Sand Dollar shops and pick out gifts for everyone on your Christmas list.
During the Holiday Open House, you will be able to meet some of the local artists at The Flair Boutique: John and Dawn who make resin and home décor items and Julianna Rousseau, a local glass blower who makes blown glass ornaments and home décor.
Other vendors who crochet, do beading and sew aprons and koozies will be at The Flair to celebrate and meet customers.
When you come to the register to check out at The Flair Boutique during the Holiday Open House, customers will reach into the owner’s stocking and pull out a surprise. They will receive either a small gift from under the tree, a discount for that evening or a 2023 coupon.
After the open house, Christmas isn’t over at The Flair Boutique. Santa will be returning Saturday Dec. 17 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday Dec. 18 from 9 a.m. to noon for more photos. Again, bring your own camera or phone and snap a picture with Jolly Old St. Nick for free.
The Flair Boutique has officially extended their hours for the holidays. The boutique will be open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. On Christmas Eve, the shop will be open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. for any last-minute shoppers.
The Flair Boutique will be closed Christmas Day and will open back up Dec. 26 – Dec. 30 for normal hours – 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The store will be closed New Year’s Day for a much-needed break and will reopen Jan. 2. However, if you are in need of a sparkly dress to ring in the new year, the shop will be open on New Year’s Eve by appointment only until 2 p.m. Please contact Kari at 850-905-2988 no later than Dec. 30.
