Public plays important role in determining restoration projects

The Florida Trustee Implementation Group invited the public to submit restoration project ideas for the state and the funding for those projects will be provided through money associated with the Deepwater Horizon oil spill.

“Project ideas have been submitted in the past and continue to be submitted for all the funding streams associated with the oil spill,” said Phil Coram, the program administrator for the Deepwater Horizon Unit at the Department of Environmental Protection.
