A familiar name and face is returning to the Health page of Navarre Press. Some of our readers may remember Shana Roberson, who contributed some great stories to the pages of the community newspaper. Roberson will now lend her writing talents to the Health page, giving her insights into eating right, getting active and living an overall happier life.
Roberson, 33, a personal trainer, group fitness teacher and Beach Body coach in Navarre will be writing a series of articles and columns focused on attainable health goals.
A veteran and mother of three, Roberson said she can relate to her readers’ struggle because when she moved to Navarre she weighed close to 200 pounds and did not maintain a healthy lifestyle.“I moved from Alaska, and up there nobody cared about what you eat and how healthy you were and how you looked,” she said. “When I got here everybody was in shape and active. That was where I started on my real fitness journey of coming back from marriage, two kids and Alaska.”
