Navarre received between 4 and 6 inches of rain from Halloween night into Monday morning, according to the National Weather Service in Mobile.
Meteorologist Cody Lindsey said some localized areas received up to 7 inches of rain. As of 6 a.m. Monday, the weather station closest to Navarre reported 6.42 inches of rain.
That rainfall total was nearly as much as what was produced by the remnants of Hurricane Patricia a week earlier where rainfall totaled close to 7 inches.
Area roadways in Navarre experienced flooding, with the hardest hit in Holley by the Sea.
