The game had all the drama the fans could handle. After two 40-minute periods, followed by two 10-minute extra time periods, the Raiders and Niceville remained in a scoreless tie.
The game almost ended with less than 30 seconds to play in the second extra time period. The Eagles were deep in Raider territory and a forward took a shot that eluded keeper Julianna DeSalle. The ball rolled toward the empty goal. Suddenly McKinney ran in from the opposite side of the field to knock the ball away. That ended the second extra time period.
The game went to sudden death and Raider Tori Martino made the winning shot.
