Santa Rosa County Public Services Director Tony Gomillion advised county commissioners Jan. 5 that a volunteer effort to construct public restrooms at Navarre Park will wrap up this week. However, Gomillion requested an additional $10,000 to cover costs required to finish the project.

“We did approve $100,000 initially,” District 2 Commissioner Bob Cole said, adding, “All in all the facility is worth (the extra $10,000).”
