Gregory Antonio Moses Jr., 23, of Navarre, was arrested on felony charges Tuesday, Nov. 25, for leaving the scene of a crash involving death.
According to police, Moses was driving a white Toyota Highlander northbound on Panhandle Trail at around 6:30 Sunday morning when he veered off the road and onto the west shoulder hitting 32-year-old Elizabeth Ruhland, police said.
The Florida Highway Patrol recovered the vehicle yesterday at Pet Nation in the Publix parking lot.
The Florida Highway Patrol’s Traffic Homicide Investigative Unit’s lead investigator interviewed and subsequently made the arrest, according to a release. The vehicle was located on a tip that led to the identification of Moses.
He is being held at Santa Rosa County Jail on $100,000 bond
