Nine-year-old Colton Hall spent his Saturday doing what he loves – kayaking East Bay with his buddies and reeling in award-winning fish.
He caught two croakers, two pigfish, two pinfish and a 4.2-pound catfish that won first place in the Juniors Division. Colton said it felt great to reel the whiskered fish in.
“The catfish felt like a black drum it was so heavy,” he said.
Colton claims he has liked fishing since he was 7 but has been fishing since he was 3.
