POLICE: MAN POSTED ON WIFE’S FACEBOOK TO COVER UP KILLING
An Orlando police report says 42-year-old George Joseph McShane was arrested Tuesday after officers found him inside his running SUV in his garage, attempting to kill himself. Police removed McShane from the SUV and found the body of Kristen McShane dead in the couple’s bed, covered with a comforter.
TAMPA POLICE OFFICER SHOOTS, WOUNDS BURGLARY SUSPECT
The incident unfolded just before 11 a.m. Thursday after Tampa police received a report of a burglary in progress. Officers arrived at the home and encountered the suspect. Police said in a news release that the officer was in fear for his life and opened fire. They say the suspect is known to police and that there is a current warrant out for his arrest for violation of probation related to robbery and grand theft cases.
POLICE: MAN BURNED ESTRANGED WIFE, STEPSON IN HOUSE FIRE
Palm Bay police tell local media outlets that 64-year-old Edgard Fuentes was arrested late Thursday morning at a nearby rest stop on Interstate 95. He had also been badly burned in the fire.
35 Dead Cats, 84 Sick Cats Removed From Home
The felines were taken from the Port Orange home over two days last week. Police say a small dog was also removed from the house. Authorities say a 49-year-old woman who lived at the excrement-filled home was taken into state custody under the Baker Act for a mental evaluation.
