JURY DELIBERATING IN TRIAL OF SLAIN NFL PLAYER
A jury has begun deliberations in the trial of a Florida man accused of the fatal 2007 shooting of Washington Redskins star safety Sean Taylor during a botched burglary. Jurors got the case late Wednesday afternoon after hearing closing arguments in the case of 23-year-old Eric Rivera Jr. He faces a possible life sentence if convicted of murder in Taylor's killing.

A jury in Liberty County will likely begin deliberating over the fate of Sheriff Nick Finch, who is on trial for official misconduct and falsifying public records. Closing arguments in the case will begin Thursday morning.
FEDERAL JUDGE GRANTS CITY OF MIAMI HEARING ON HOMELESS
A federal judge says the city of Miami officials can present arguments during a hearing in December on reasons they believe a 15-year-old agreement that gave the homeless certain rights should be modified. The agreement lets the homeless do things like light fires in parks and sleep on sidewalks. Officials say significant changes have been made downtown since the 1998 agreement.
