Crist announces BP funding for innovative technology

Governor Charlie Crist announced $500,000 in funding from BP for two innovative technology solutions for Okaloosa County. The funding will support two projects that have yet to be tried in protecting Florida from oil spill impacts.

Miller, Putnam bill would help protect Gulf homeowners from foreclosure

Congressmen Jeff Miller, R-Fla., and Adam Putnam, R-Fla., introduced legislation June 24 that would provide mortgage forbearance to homeowners in the areas affected by the BP Deepwater Horizon oil leak in the Gulf of Mexico.
